Okay, it’s time to start the show. In our last episode, we became shipwrecked while heading to Exotic Tiki Island. As it turns out, we ended up marooned on the very same island as the Castaways of the SS Minnow.
Yup, you heard it, we were on Gilligan’s Island, and we met up with them just in time to save Gilligan and the Skipper from being ambushed by the rest of the Castaways. Here’s a recap of what happened in our last episode.
Captain, look, I don’t believe it. It’s the Castaways of the SS Minnow.
You’re right, Tiki Brian. It’s Mr. and Mrs. Howe, the Professor, Ginger, and Mary Anne. But where’s the Skipper and Gilligan?
Oh my, look, the Skipper and Gilligan are over in the jungle disguised as a tree and a bush. And it looks like the other Castaways are getting ready to ambush them.
And now, the story continues.
We’ve got to save the Skipper and Gilligan. Hey, wait, hold up, don’t attack. That’s not the Merubi headhunters, it’s only the Skipper and Gilligan.
Everybody, calm down.
What are you doing here? What are you doing on this island?
My name is Tiki Brian, and this is Captain Scotty B. And these are all of my Tiki friends. We were shipwrecked on this island just like you.
Oh, I’m sure glad you made it.
Yeah, we’re glad too.
I don’t know how your boat got wrecked. No boats ever come around here.
Well, Gilligan, we were on our way to Exotic Tiki Island, and out of nowhere, a horrible storm came and took us hundreds of miles off course. The next thing we knew, we ended up shipwrecked here on this island. I’m sure the Skipper can relate how storms can come out of nowhere, right, Skipper?
Oh, you have something to say?
How long have you been here? How close are we to away, and how can we get off this island?
We’ve only been here a couple of days, and by Captain Scotty B’s calculations, we’re about 250 miles south of Hawaii, and about getting off this island.
What about help? Are they gonna send a boat after us?
I was just getting to that, Professor. The answer to your question is yes. A USS Navy destroyer has already been notified of our location, and it’s on its way to pick us up on the other side of the island.
Why don’t you all pack your things, and we’ll hike over to the other side of the island and wait for the Navy Destroyer to arrive. I’m sure you’re as excited to be rescued as we are!
All right, it looks like everyone is packed and ready to go. Let’s head over to the other side of the island.
We’re finally here, my friends. All we have to do now is relax and wait for the boat.
Look, everyone, there it is. The Navy Destroyer is heading straight towards us. We’re finally getting rescued.
As the US. Navy Destroyer pulls up close to the island, a large rescue raft is deployed from the boat and makes its way to the beach. After arriving on the beach, everyone safely boards the raft and it heads back to the Navy Destroyer.
Welcome aboard, everyone. I’m Captain Steve Tradewind of the USS Krog. Is everyone doing okay?
Yes, Captain. We’re all fine. And look who we have with us.
The missing crew of the SS Minnow. Gilligan, would you like to introduce your fellow Castaways?
Uh-huh. The Skipper, the Professor, Ginger Marianne, Mr. and Mrs. Howell.
They were shipwrecked on the same island.
Welcome aboard. Everyone on the mainland in Exotic Tiki Island are eagerly awaiting your return. And now that you’ve found the Castaways of the SS Minnow, the whole world will be celebrating your return to civilization.
Ladies and gentlemen, make yourselves comfortable as we prepare to head out to sea.
Tiki Brian, we just got an emergency call from another ship. We’re going to have to drop all of you off on Exotic Tiki Island. From there, Captain Scotty B will be able to get you home safely.
That’s no problem, Captain. In fact, I just thought of a great idea. I would like to invite Gilligan and the Skipper and the rest of the Castaways to the bamboo bar on Exotic Tiki Island.
It would be our honor to throw all of you a party in celebration of your safe return to civilization. Oh, sure thing. Wonderful.
Let’s head to Exotic Tiki Island.
The USS Grov docks on the main beach of Exotic Tiki Island. Everyone thanks Captain Steve Tradewind for rescuing them. Tiki Brian escorts everyone from the main beach over to the jungle trail that leads up to the bamboo bar.
As the news of the safe return of Tiki Brian and the castaways of the SS Minnow quickly spreads throughout the island, preparation for a big party has already begun.
Let’s head up to the bamboo bar. This way, my friends, this way.
We’re finally here. Let’s head inside, grab a tiki drink, and join the party.
Thanks for watching!
Attention, Wahinis and Coneys. I’d like to propose a toast. I just want to say, it’s glad to be back home, and I’m especially thrilled that we have found the castaways of the SS Minnow.
Gilligan, Skipper, Professor, Ginger, Marianne, and Mr. and Mrs. Howell, aloha and welcome home.
If not for the turn of the bill, let’s prove the Mittle would be lost, the Mittle would be lost.
Welcome back, Castaways. All of us here at the Bamboo Bar would be honored to have our favorite movie star, Ginger Grant, come up on stage and sing a song for all of us. What do you say, Ginger?
I wanna be loved by you, by you, and nobody else but you.
Skipper, are you hungry?
No, be quiet, will you?
Professor, are you hungry? Shh, Mrs. Howell, are you hungry?
Devil, shh. I wanna be kissed by you.
Gilligan, are you hungry? Oh, am I hungry? I’m starved.
What would you like for dinner? Oh, I’d like to have steak smothered in hamburgers and ice cream sundaes topped by ice cream.
Gilligan, please. I’ll fix dinner as soon as Ginger’s finished, but be quiet now, huh? Oh, she’s wonderful.
I’d give anything to be like Ginger Grant.
A real movie star.
Woo!
Then kiss me twice. Then kiss me once again. It’s been a long time.
What’s that, Ginger? Ginger just informed me that she would like to invite Mrs. Howell and Marianne up on the stage to help her out with this next song.
All right, you ladies ready? Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the bamboo bar, The Honeybees.
Hey, Tiki Brian, I just got word that my crew has finished preparing the boat for our journey home. It’s ready to launch when you are.
Thanks, Captain. I’ll inform the Skipper. Skipper, our boat is ready for launching, and we can set sail for the mainland whenever you’re ready.
The Exotic Tiki Island Podcast will return after these important messages.

Welcome back to the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast. Let’s head back to the beach and prepare for our voyage.
Everyone arrives back on the main beach, and Tiki Brian approaches Captain Scotty B with a request.
Captain, I was just talking with the skipper, and he suggested that if it was okay with you, of course, that he would be the one to take the rest of the Castaways home to the mainland. He feels that since he was the captain when they left for their three-hour tour, that he should be the one to bring them back home. Is that okay with you?
No problem. Skipper, I turn my boat over to you and the rest of the Castaways. Have a safe trip home, my friends.
The Castaways leave exotic Tiki Island and head for the mainland, where the rest of the world is anticipating their arrival. As the Castaways head out to sea in Captain Scotty B’s boat, a horrible storm comes out of nowhere and takes them off course. What happens next, you ask?
I’ll let this song finish the story for you.
Gilligan, Skipper II.
Thank Well, friends, there you have it. It turns out that the Castaways once again became shipwrecked on an uncharted island. Perhaps it’s for the best.
Besides, isn’t that what many of us long for? To be marooned on the tropical island? Not having to worry about today’s hectic, stressful life?
Don’t feel bad for their situation. Ask yourself, if you had the chance to join the Castaways on Gilligan’s Island, would you? This is Tiki Brian.
Mahalo for listening to the show. And I’ll see all of you next time on exotic Tiki Island. Aloha!
