Aloha, friends, and welcome to a special edition of the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast. My name is Tiki Brian, and in this special episode, I’m going to give you a preview of a new project that I’ve been working on. It’s called Eti Radio.

Eti Radio is an extension of the podcast where it gives you, the listener, the opportunity to hear even more vintage Hawaiian, Exotica and Tiki music from my personal LP and digital collection. The great thing about Eti Radio is that you’ll be able to listen on a set schedule all weekend long. Starting Friday, September 5th, beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, I’ll be streaming live all weekend long until that Sunday evening.

That’s over 72 hours of nonstop Tiki music. And to make it even more exciting, I’ll be spinning some pirate and mermaid music too, plus lots of other surprises. Now, here’s the best part.

Eti Radio will be streaming live online on a monthly set schedule. The schedule will be the first Friday of each month, beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time until that Sunday evening. You can listen to Eti Radio by going to mixler.com and search for Eti Radio.

Mixler is spelled mixlr.com. Once you’re there, be sure to click on the follow button to get an email reminder when I’m live on the air. For more info on Eti Radio, you can visit exotictikiisland.com.

For this special episode of the podcast, I’ve decided to give you a little taste of Eti Radio. So make your favorite cocktail, sit back and relax, and enjoy this preview of Eti Radio.

Eti Radio, broadcasting to the South Seas and beyond.

Our guests are arriving on time, to the second.

They always do.

My dear Tattoo, when each guest is paying $50,000 for a three-day stay on Fantasy Island, he or she deserves miracles.

Right, boss.

You’re listening to WETI Radio, broadcasting to the South Seas and beyond.

Let’s keep the hula skirts swishing as we play more South Seas Treasures.

Broadcasting live from a Paradise Island located in the South Seas, you are tuned in to WETI Radio, a tropical paradise for your ear.

Ah, welcome, friends. Come in, come in. You’ve chanced upon the mermaid’s fin, the boarding house where pirates be, a short time parted from the sea.

The weather’s fierce, yet all be well.

We have such tales to tell.

I hope everyone’s enjoying this preview of Eti Radio. Don’t forget, Eti Radio starts September 5th and streams online the first Friday of each month, beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Visit exotictikiisland.com for more info.

Mahalo, and now, back to the music.

WETI Radio will return after these messages.

Ahoy, you scurvy dogs. Once a year, you too can enjoy the luxury of talking like a pirate without condemnation, because September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Arr.

Many a fine pirate can be found slaving away on someone else’s scurvy ridden ship and speak in proper English. But this is your day to say, Arr, to hell with you, mateys. I wants to talk like a pirate.

Draw your sword, don your eye patch, and grab your booty, oh. And join the crew of the Irish Stout on Talk Like a Pirate Day. And here are three ways in which you can celebrate this fine holiday.

First, talk like a pirate at home. Arr, where’s me grog, children? Second, talk like a pirate at work.

Arr, here’s me TPS report, captain. And third, talk like a pirate in bed. Ahoy, wench, come and shiver me timber.

Join your family, friends, and neighbors in making Talk Like a Pirate Day an annual event. This is Captain Blackjack Murphy with your friendly PSA, Pirate Service Announcement. Find out more about Talk Like a Pirate Day at talklikeapirate.com.

Does anyone else all wet? Er.

And now, we turn to our field correspondent, Jungle Tim.

The South Seas. Enchanted archipelagos of Eden. From earliest times, the islands of illusion.

To the first explorers, like Captain Cook, the South Seas represented a challenging quest for the unknown. To the missionaries who followed, they were a hunting ground for souls. To artists such as Paul Gauguin, the South Seas meant one vast painter’s palette of beauty and color.

To writers like Melville, Conrad and Stevenson, they were a living source book, teeming with romantic adventure.

You’re listening to Vintage Hawaiian Exotica and Island-related music on WETI Radio. Aloha!

Aloha, listeners. I hope you’re enjoying this preview of Eti Radio. In celebration of Eti Radio going on the air, I would like to invite all of you listeners to be a part of Eti Radio.

Please note that your business or product or event must be Tiki, Island, Beach, Surf, or Hawaiian related to be aired on Eti Radio. Mahalo.

Welcome back, good friend, come in. Good luck has brought you back again, to shore and this, the Mermaid’s Fin, the pirate’s favorite friendly hold, where pirate secrets can be told. The wind and waves make war with land, but we have scurvy dogs on hand.

So, stow your swords and lend your ears to sailors’ robes and buccaneers. The weather’s fierce, yet all be well, for we have pirate tales to tell. Come in.

Ha ha ha.

Are you trying to scare them again, Captain?

Everyone, come on in.

Welcome aboard. Aye, what he said.

Whoa, a pirate’s life is a wonderful life, a rope and over the sea. Give me a career as a buccaneer, it’s the life of a pirate for me. Oh, the life of a pirate for me.

For when it’s all over, a jolly sea rover drops in on his friend, Davy Jones. Oh, his very good friend, Davy Jones.

Come on.

That was fun, fellas.

Now, give me back my moomoos.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the South Seas trade winds while listening to WETI Radio, a tropical vacation for your ears.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this preview of Eti Radio. Be sure to tune in over on mixlr.com Friday, September 5th, beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time as Eti Radio streams live on the air with even more vintage Hawaiian, Exotica, and Tiki music. For more detailed info, visit exotictikiisland.com.
