Show number 39. Aloha and welcome to the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast.

Aloha and welcome to episode 39 of the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast. I’m your host, Tiki Brian, and I invite you to take another adventure with me back in time to a South Pacific Isle called Exotic Tiki Island while I play vintage Hawaiian, exotica, and tiki music from my personal LP and digital collection. If you’re looking to take a break from today’s stressful and hectic world and take a mini vacation, at least in your mind, then my friends, you’ve come to the right place.

Our sponsors for this show include Cockspur Rum. They’ve been making the party happen since 1884. Cockspur Rum is known worldwide for its unquestionable heritage, strong body, rich color, and smooth flavor.

Visit cockspurrum.com for more info. And Ho-Tap-Fefti, creators of tiki-themed barware, mugs, and limited edition tiki-themed products. Be sure to check out Ho-Tap-Fefti’s online store, located at cafepress.com forward slash Ho-Tap-Fefti.

That’s H-O-T-E-P-N-E-F-T-I. You’ll hear more about our sponsors later on during this episode. And now friends, let’s begin our adventure.

Captain Scotty B, how are we traveling to the island in this episode? Well, Tiki Brian, the Pacific Ocean is bursting with some heavy surfing waves. So I brought along enough surfboards for everyone to use.

Get ready friends, we’re going to surf to Exotic Tiki Island. Oh, fantastic, captain. So grab a surfboard, let’s paddle out past where the waves are breaking and position ourselves for the next big wave to take us to Exotic Tiki Island.

Let’s go everyone. Captain, here comes a massive wave. Is everybody ready?

Let’s surf our way to the island.

Wow, what a ride. We made it to Exotic Tiki Island. We sure did, Tiki Brian.

And after that ride, I think we should relax here on the main beach before we continue our adventure on the main island. I couldn’t agree more, Captain. Hey, I have an idea.

Why don’t you make all of our Tiki friends one of your fantastic Tiki cocktails while we’re relaxing here on the main beach? Alright friends, gather around my tiki bar and I’m going to make you my cocksper rum dreamsickle cocktail. The liquid libation is a perfect drink for those hot summer days here on the island and around your tiki bar.

The cocksper dreamsickle consists of 1 1 half ounces of cocksper fine rum, 1 1 half ounces of coconut cream, 3 ounces of pineapple juice, 1 1 half ounces of grenadine syrup. Pour all the ingredients into the shaker, serve over crushed ice. Garnish with a pineapple and cherry.

Serve this tasty cocktail at your next cocktail party and your guests will think you’re a tiki guy. Mahalo Captain! And friends, be sure to visit the official exotictikiisland.com website for this and other tiki drink recipes.

Captain, this is a great tasting drink. And now, let’s rest here for a bit and enjoy our drink while listening to some Hawaiian music. Welcome to the main beach on exotic Tiki Island.

That was very enjoyable. And what do you say we head up to the Enchanted Falls? And if we’re lucky, we may even see some mermaids.

But first, let’s take a short break and we’ll be right back to continue our adventure.

Cockspur Rum has been making the party happen since 1884, when Danish merchant Valdemar Hansel created Cockspur Rum in Barbados. Throughout the years, Cockspur Rum has stayed true to the traditional processes that make this rum unique. These include using only the purest coral filtered water from the nearby aquifer, as well as carefully selected barrels.

The rum is then aged under a warm Caribbean sunshine and fresh ocean breezes at our beachside distillery. The Cockspur Rooster has proudly represented the Cockspur brand at nightclubs and events everywhere and continues to be the life of the party, just as it was over 125 years ago. Cockspur Rum is a proud sponsor of the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast and ETI Radio.

For more information on Cockspur Rum, visit their website, www.cockspurrum.com.

Mahalo.

You’re listening to Tiki Brian and the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast.

Welcome back to the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast. Okay, Tiki Brian, I think we’re all ready to venture up to the Enchanted Falls. All right, friends, now make sure you stay on the jungle path as we hike up to the Enchanted Falls.

And keep an eye out for headhunters. They sometimes like to ambush us from within the thick jungle. This way, friends, this way.

Listen, what’s that? Oh, wait, it’s my friend, Shrunkenhead Ned, the jungle’s all-knowing witch doctor. Let’s go up to Shrunkenhead Ned and see what words of wisdom he has for us.

Hello and welcome. Please place your hand in mine and breathe in deeply. I said breathe in deeply.

Look, if you’re not going to, what’s that? You were breathing in deeply? Oh, oh my word, this is terrible.

My advice is, of course, don’t buy any green bananas. You probably won’t be around to enjoy them. And, of course, don’t take the Jungle Cruise ride.

All those corny jokes could kill you. Or maybe not. Of course, I’ve taken the Jungle Cruise ride hundreds of times and, of course, my body is in perfect shape.

If I could just find the bloody thing. You haven’t seen my body, have you? Well, of course, anyway, until you reach civilization, take the advice tendered below and thank you so much for patronizing Shrunkard Ned, the Jungle’s only self-service witch doctor.

We’re another quarter here. Mahalo for that valuable advice, Ned. Okay, friends, onward we go to the Enchanted Falls.

Listen, up ahead, I think we have headhunters waiting to ambush us. Be very quiet. Captain, sneak up there and see what’s going on.

Me? Why don’t you go? I have to stay here with our friends in case we need to make a run for it.

They won’t know where to go without my help. Now, stop quivering, Captain, and go check out the scene. Fine, I’ll go.

Friends, let’s wait here until Captain gives us the okay to proceed. Now, if we have to make a run for it, I want all of you to follow me. I know another way to get us to the Enchanted Falls.

The headhunters are coming! The headhunters are coming! Oh boy, we better run!

Whew, I think we lost them. That was pretty close. Yeah, a little bit too close if you ask me.

Sorry about that, Captain, but you saved us. Next time, you’ll be the one checking things out. Okay, Captain, I will.

Oh, look, we’ve arrived to the Enchanted Falls. After all of that excitement, I think we should relax here and enjoy some music. And hopefully, we’ll attract mermaids to come out and sunbathe in the middle of the lagoon.

I’ll play what mermaids love to hear, lush Exotica music. My friends, welcome to the Enchanted Falls.

To a sailor, there’s a strange enchantment found only in the South Pacific. A certain feeling a man gets. Call it love or magic, or blame the whole thing on that Polynesian moon.

I only know that I remember…

I must say, the Enchanted Falls never disappoints us. Exotic, lush music and mermaids always take the edge off of our hectic lives. Well friends, I think it’s time for us to head back to the main beach and prepare for our journey home to the present day and time.

Just to be safe and avoid the headhunters, I’ve asked Captain Scotty B to take us back to the main beach on his boat and travel down the rivers of adventure. Let’s prepare to board the boat. Okay, wahinis and connies, welcome aboard.

Please keep your nose, toes and elbows inside the boat until the boat comes to a complete stop. Relax and get ready to enjoy your ride down the rivers of adventure.

Mahalo, Captain, for that awesome ride. Friends, we are now back on the main beach, so let’s grab our surfboards and catch the next wave to the present day and time. Before we go, I’d like to send out some big mahalos to some listeners who sent in a donation over the past month to help support the podcast and ETI Radio.
