Alright, wahinis and connies, are you ready to travel back in time to exotic Tiki Island?
Captain Scotty B will be taking us to the island in his time traveling machine. Captain, everyone’s here and ready to start our spooky adventure. All right, friends, before we crank up the time machine and travel to the island, we should make our tiki cocktails to enjoy for our ride back in time.
Help yourself to the Painkiller Tiki Cocktail, made with a cocksper spiced rum. Here’s the recipe so you listeners at home can enjoy one too. To make the Painkiller with a cocksper rum, cocktail, you will need a quarter of a medium orange, cut into two wedges, one ounce of coconut cream.
I’m using Coco Lopez cream of coconut, two ounces of fresh pineapple juice, two ounces of the cocksper spiced rum, crushed ice, whole nutmeg or grated for garnish. I’m using the McCormick brand. One pineapple stick from a fresh pineapple.
Here’s your instructions.
Add cream of coconut, pineapple juice and the cocksper spiced rum. Dry shake, meaning without ice and pour into a double old fashioned glass over crushed ice. Grate a generous amount of nutmeg over top and garnish with a pineapple stick.
And please enjoy.
Mm, that’s very tasty, Captain. And listeners, I’d like to invite you to visit the exotictikiisland.com website where you can download this recipe along with many other tiki cocktails. Just visit exotictikiisland.com.
Okay, friends, watch your step as you enter the time machine. Please secure all your painkiller cocktails and please keep your arms, hands, legs, and feet inside the time machine at all times. All right, Captain, we are ready to start our adventure.
Wahinis and Kahnis, the moon is so bright. My time machine is ready for its spooky flight. With cocktails in hand and tiki torches lit, our night archer’s ghost story is sure to be a hit.
So hold on tight as we travel to the isle for music and adventure Halloween style.
Welcome, Waihenies and Kanees, to the main beach on Exotic Tiki Island. The sun is beginning to set over the Virgin Volcano, and you can hear the trade winds blowing the palm trees as night begins to fall onto the island. Let’s begin our adventure and hike over to the Haunted Hut to enjoy some spooky tunes as we celebrate Halloween on Exotic Tiki Island.
Now, in order to get over to the Haunted Hut, we’re gonna have to walk down the dark, scary jungle path. I hope you’re not afraid, are you? This way, my friends, this way.
We are almost to the entrance of the Haunted Hut. It’s a little further down this very dark section of the jungle. As we proceed, let me tell you a story about the night marchers as we make our way into this part of the dark jungle.
On a remote stretch of beach, located a few miles south of the Forbidden Lagoon, sits a tall cliff that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. To the locals on Exotic Tiki Island, this is a sacred spot. A place to be the jumping off point for the dead into the afterlife.
This remote stretch of land is believed to be the home of the infamous night marchers’ procession. The deadly warriors from beyond who have been known to maim or kill anyone who is in their way when they approach. Everyone who lives on Exotic Tiki Island has heard of the legends and the folklore about the night marchers.
Let’s continue with our story about the night marchers. The night marchers are a ghostly procession of ancient Hawaiians seen proceeding from Voodoo Peak down to the Pacific Ocean. These night marchers of Exotic Tiki Island are the most feared of all the Hawaiian spirits, and they are believed to have caused numerous deaths.
The legend of the night marchers dates back hundreds of years, and the stories have been passed down from family to family, and have been told late at night around campfires. The legend says that the night marchers march only at night with torches and sounding drums. These warriors define everything as far as the supernatural goes here on Exotic Tiki Island.
We are at the easternmost point of Exotic Tiki Island, and not far from here is Voodoo Peak, the place where the souls leap into the next world. Behind me, just up ahead around the bend, is where the Night Marcher Trail crosses the jungle path. Their trail begins somewhere from the north shore and comes over to this point where we are standing right now.
If you happen to be in this place anywhere between midnight and four in the morning on the night where there is no moon, there’s a very, very good chance that you will encounter the Night Marchers. They come out of the jungle right here, cut through this part of the trail, and head directly to the ocean. But take precaution, my friends.
If you haven’t heard the warnings of the drums or blowing of the conch shells, if you haven’t seen the tiki torches light up, it’s probably too late. The best you can do is lie down on the ground, face down. If you’re Hawaiian, you may have an ancestor in that procession who will call out your name and protect you.
But if you’re not Hawaiian, well, all I can say is, good luck to you.
Listen, do you hear that? Could it be the night marchers heading this way?
I’m scared, Tiki Brian.
Don’t run, Captain, and everyone else be still.
The night marchers are coming this way.
Tiki Brian, the night marchers are right behind us. Everyone lie down on the ground face down, and whatever you do, don’t look up at them. We should be safe if we don’t look at them.
Oh boy. Alright everyone follow me and run!
Whew, I think we outran the Night Marchers. That was pretty scary. Hey, look, we’ve made it to the Haunted Hut.
Let’s head inside and enjoy some Halloween that only the Haunted Hut can offer.
