Ingredients:
- 1 -2 Limes
- 1 -2 Tablespoons of sugar (super fine, granulated or simple syrup)
- 2 ounces of CACHAÇA
- Crushed ice
Garnish:
- Lime slice
Instructions:
Slice off the end (about 1/4-inch) of each lime. Cut the limes in half, lengthwise then slice lengthwise again into quarters. Slice down through the white pith of each quarter and discard it. If desired, cut the lime quarters in half crosswise to yield eight wedges.
In an Old Fashioned glass or cocktail shaker, combine the lime wedges with the sugar and use a muddler to gently crush and squeeze out the lime juice from the limes. Don’t go overboard with the muddling or you will make your drink bitter.
Add the CACHAÇA, stir or shake well. If using a cocktail shaker pour the drink, including limes, into an Old Fashioned glass with crushed ice. If making the drink directly in the glass, add crushed ice and stir. Garnish with a lime slice.
Enjoy.
