Aloha, and welcome to another episode of the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast. I’m your host, Tiki Brian, and this is show number five. Join me once again for another adventure as we travel back in time to the island while I play vintage Hawaiian, exotica, and island-related music from my personal LP collection.

In this show, we’ll be visiting the main beach, the Hurricane Hut Lounge, and we’ll also take another hike up to VooDoo Peak and listen to the natives perform another evening show of exotica entertainment live from the Forbidden Lagoon. And as always, I’ll throw in a few surprises too. You know, since the first show, I’ve received many emails from listeners all over the world saying how much they’re enjoying the show and the music from my LP collection.

So I wanted to send out a huge mahalo to all of you who have emailed me and are enjoying the podcast. It’s nice to see that there are many of you out there that enjoy this music as much as I do. So now, let’s pack our bags and head off to Exotic Tiki Island.

Aloha, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome aboard Exotic Tiki Island Airlines. The captain has turned on the fasten seatbelt sign. Please stow your Tiki shirts, hula skirts and island accessories underneath the seat in front of you.

We invite you to sit back in your hammock and relax as we fly you to a place called Exotic Tiki Island.

Aloha, passengers. This is your captain speaking, Scotty B. Welcome aboard today’s flight to the exotic Tiki Island.

The weather on the island is a perfect 79 degrees with a calm, cool trade wind blowing from the west. It’s a perfect day for flying back in time, so sit back in your hammocks and enjoy the flight. Oh, I forgot to mention.

Everyone’s tea drinks are on me today. Enjoy my holiday.

Welcome to the main beach here on Exotic Tiki Island. The very name Exotic Tiki Island conjures up visions of golden sandy beaches, great tropical palm trees, and lovely grass-skirted girls dancing the hula. Let’s enjoy some of these treasures right now as we relax on the main beach and listen to some wonderful music.

The Exotic Tiki Island Podcast will return after these important messages.

Ohawaii Koukākou Onehāna. Ohawaii, the sands of our birth, connected from the mountain to the sea. The gift, the land, the responsibility.

The values of our ancestors, the culture, the people. The life for the children, this is my Hawai’i.

That’s our Hawai’i too. After more than 75 years of serving these islands, we’re proud to say only one airline is Hawai’i.

You’re listening to Tiki Brian and the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast.

Let’s continue our excursion on Exotic Tiki Island and head up to the Hurricane Hut Lounge where we can enjoy some local island entertainment as we sip on some of the best Tiki cocktails that Hurricane Hut has to offer.

Welcome to the Hurricane Hut Lounge. Let’s go inside and enjoy some great drinks and some great music.

Ladies and gentlemen, from Hawaii. Presenting the exciting and dynamic, Mr. Blue Paul. Let’s hear it, ladies and gentlemen, Blue Paul.

Here we are, straight from Hawaii. It’s not far across the sea.

Ladies and gentlemen, aloha. aloha Aloha and welcome.

Welcome to the Contiki Room here at Carmelis. We’d like for you to forget where you are, forget what’s outside. Let us take you and your imagination to Hawaii and points around the world.

In order for us to do this, you have to relax. We’d like for you to do it like we do in, say, Hawaii. And that is hang loose.

Great music and great drinks. It doesn’t get much better than that. I think we should start heading up to VooDoo Peak so we can listen to the natives perform their night of exotic entertainment.

Hold up right there, people. I think I hear something up ahead. Be very quiet.

This area of the jungle is known as Headhunter Territory. We don’t want to end up as a trophy hanging on the wall of a headhunter’s hut. Wait, that’s not the sound of headhunters.

That’s the sound of some friendly villagers playing the steel drums. Let’s stop here for a short rest and listen to the music.

Okay, I believe you. Oh, rock your body, child. Oh, somebody help me.

Yes.

Yes, yes.

Thanks for watching!

That was pretty cool. Well, we better get going.

We don’t want to be late for our Exotica musical entertainment happening at the Forbidden Lagoon. So we better head up to VooDoo Peak where we’ll have a perfect view of the show.

We made it up to VooDoo Peak once again just in time to listen to some great Exotica musical entertainment being performed by the local natives down on the Forbidden Lagoon.

Well, there you have it. Another great, fantastic show, live from the Forbidden Lagoon. Well, people, it’s time to head back to the main beach and start getting ready to head back to the present day and time.

So, let’s start our journey back, and I’ll catch up with you back on the beach.

A-pa-loo.

We are now back on the main beach just in time to hear a couple of songs before we head back. Let’s enjoy.

I’m Ke-Ma-Ke-No-Bow-E-La-Fa-N-A-U-E-E-A.

Our plane is here and is ready to fly us back home. I hope you all enjoyed your visit here on Exotic Tiki Island. Be sure to come back soon for another visit to the island while I play vintage Hawaiian, exotica, and island-related music from my personal record collection.
