Before we start our show, I would like to send out a big mahalo to listener Mike Ramel. Mike sent in a very generous donation to help me with the expenses of keeping this podcast going. Thank you, Mike.
Your donation is very much appreciated. And as usual, if any of you other listeners like the show as much as Mike does, please consider a small donation to help me out. You can make a donation by going to www.exotictikiisland.com.
I would also like to congratulate our first ETI newsletter prize winner. Pierre Wilson won an original LP record of Martin Denny’s Exotica 3, along with a digital copy. Pierre was automatically entered into the contest by signing up to receive the ETI newsletter that is emailed out every four to six weeks.
The ETI newsletter includes Tiki news, spotlights on musical artists that are played on the show, Tiki drink recipes, Exotic Tiki Island show release dates and prize giveaways. It’s easy to sign up. Just go to the official Exotic Tiki Island website and enter your email address.
And who knows, you may be the next big prize winner like Pierre was. Now let’s start the show. Christmas is a wonderful time to visit Exotic Tiki Island.
There’s lots of parties going on all over the isle, including the two biggest events. One is the Big Christmas Gala Party at the Hurricane Hut Lounge and the other is a festive holiday get together over at the Bamboo Bar. But I’ve decided to take us to a more relaxing place.
A place where you won’t find many people on the beach during this time of year. A place where you can relax and take a break from all of the hectic holiday activities and enjoy relaxing on the beach with your toes in the sand as you sip on your favorite tiki cocktail. That place is called the Aloha Beach and we’re going to travel there now.
Is everyone ready? Let’s hop aboard the sleigh and travel to the Aloha Beach on Exotic Tiki Island. Captain Scotty B, we are all on board and we’re ready for takeoff.
Okay friends, hold on. We’re headed off to the Aloha Beach on Exotic Tiki Island. Onward we go.
Okay, Tiki Brian, we have a ride. Enjoy the island, everyone. Welcome, wahinis and khanis, to the Aloha Beach on Exotic Tiki Island.
Usually, we travel to several places on the island during our adventure, but in this special episode, I’ve decided to treat all of you to a very relaxing holiday and spend the entire show here at the Aloha Beach as I play for you some wonderful Exotic Tiki Island Christmas music. I hope all of you have your favorite cocktail in hand. Now, I want you all to relax and enjoy the Aloha Beach and the music of the season.
Mellakaliki Maka.
There’s nothing like relaxing on the Aloha Beach on Exotic Tiki Island. Let’s keep the holiday music playing while you sip on your favorite cocktail.
Listen, do you hear that? It’s the natives over on the Forbidden Lagoon celebrating the holiday season. Let’s listen in as they perform some holiday favorites.
That was quite a treat. Even the natives celebrate Christmas on Exotic Tiki Island. And now, let’s continue with the music of this festive season.
Aloha, friend. I hope you’ve enjoyed the music of this special Christmas and holiday episode of the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast. If you would like to listen to more Hawaiian and island-related Christmas music, be sure to download and listen to show number 12 from last year.
It’s packed with even more festive music of the holiday season. I’d like to take a moment and say mahalo to all of you for listening and subscribing to the podcast. You know, when I first started this podcast just over two years ago, I wasn’t sure if a show like this would have so many listeners from all around the world.
It still amazes me to this very day how many of you enjoy this type of music as much as I do. And to top it off, I’ve met some amazing friends through the emails and comments on my website and conversations on the ETI Facebook page. I just want to say mahalo to all of you for listening and subscribing.
It’s clear to me that you really enjoy this show. So thank you very much. And all of us here on Exotic Tiki Island, we’d like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and holiday season.
Mele Kalikimaka. Captain Scottie B. Do you have something that you’d like to say?
Sure do. Mele Kalikimaka, everyone. We’ll be back again next year with more fun adventures on exotic Tiki Island.
Aloha!
